Kevin O’Leary, also known as “Mr. Wonderful” on the hit TV show Shark Tank, is a Canadian businessman, author, and television personality. Born on July 9th, 1954, O’Leary grew up in Montreal, Quebec and attended the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Psychology. He continued his education at the University of Western Ontario, receiving his MBA in Entrepreneurship.
O’Leary is considered one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Canada, building his wealth through a variety of business ventures including software and mutual funds. He is the founder and chairman of O’Leary Funds Inc., one of Canada’s largest mutual fund companies. He is also the co-founder of SoftKey, a software company that saw major success in the 1990s.
